Aura SMS is an addon that brings SMS capabilities to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Aura
SMS is available for all editions of Dynamics CRM 2011 (Online, On-Premise, Partner
Hosted & IFD). The addon supports both Sending and Receiving of SMS.

- Incoming and Outgoing SMS
Aura SMS supports sending and receiving of messages from most carriers in most countries.

All incoming and outgoing SMS are recorded as CRM Activities similar to Emails,
Fax, Phone Calls that are native to CRM.
This feature allows you to make SMS personalized and also include data from all
CRM entities and attributes including across relationships. The included Template
Designer helps create templates.
- Mobile Voting/Survey/Response Recording
Incoming SMS body can be parsed out and used to trigger further actions via CRM
worfklows. For example, an incoming SMS “Camera Luis” can be used to create a new
Lead with Last Name Luis and associated with the Camera Campaign. Or an Incoming
SMS “A” can be used to record feedback from a respondent to a survey.
CRM Workflows can be used to trigger Outgoing SMS. Workflows can also be triggered
in response to Incoming SMS.
